Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a name or case number is entered in a search tool, the query is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and returns any results. Socorro County Court Docket does not store or log the search terms entered through those tools.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send an email, we retain the message to respond to it. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, servers may receive limited technical information about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to the device
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on them
- The referring site, when one is provided
- Timestamps associated with page views
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device that help measure use of the site, including traffic patterns and page performance. Analytics services may aggregate that information. Browser settings can block cookies, although some site functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Operate, secure, and improve the site
- Route search requests to the applicable outside service
- Measure which pages and features are useful
- Diagnose and address technical problems
- Deliver advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Socorro County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It provides general location and access information for records held by the Socorro County District Court Clerk, the court that owns the matter, and state systems such as New Mexico Case Lookup, re:SearchNM, and the New Mexico Courts IPRA portal. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party records.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes may be operated by outside companies. Information entered into those tools is subject to the provider's privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing rules, which Socorro County Court Docket does not control. Review the provider's policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
The site links to court pages, clerk resources, statewide case systems, legal-aid resources, and outside search services. A link takes you to a separate website governed by that site's privacy practices. Review those practices before providing personal information.
Advertising partners may collect activity across websites to deliver targeted advertising. Such collection occurs through their own systems, not through our control.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared with the following categories when needed for the stated purposes:
- Search providers that process a submitted query
- Analytics vendors that measure traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that serve advertisements
- Government or law-enforcement bodies responding to a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
We use reasonable security practices for the data we collect. No internet-connected service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that a security incident will never occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us so we can delete it.
Your Data Rights
New Mexico's Inspection of Public Records Act, including NMSA 1978 Sections 14-2-1, 14-2-1.1, 14-2-8, 14-2-9, 14-2-11, and 14-2-12, governs inspection of public records held by public bodies. It does not make Socorro County Court Docket a government custodian. Court-record access is also subject to Rule 1-079 NMRA and applicable sealing or redaction rules. Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- Provide a copy of data we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate

- Opt out of certain processing where that option applies
