About Socorro County Court Docket

Socorro County court records run through several New Mexico court clerks, court calendars, and statewide electronic services. This private reference resource identifies the responsible court channel for a docket, hearing, case search, or record request. It does not replace the District Court Clerk, Magistrate clerk, municipal clerk, or New Mexico Judiciary. Official case information and certified copies remain with the court or clerk that holds the underlying record.

Why We Built This Site

Socorro County has District Court, Magistrate Court, municipal, probate, county-recording, and federal-record paths. They are not interchangeable. The Seventh Judicial District Court is the primary general-jurisdiction court, while Socorro Magistrate Court handles lower-court matters such as traffic, misdemeanors, DWI/DUI, and limited civil cases. The elected County Clerk keeps a different set of county records. New Mexico Case Lookup and re:SearchNM add statewide electronic layers. The purpose of this resource is to describe that routing clearly and link to the official source that keeps the record.

What You Will Find Here

The content focuses on official entry points and the distinction between a case summary, a docket, a hearing setting, and a filed copy.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately operated reference resource, not an office of the New Mexico Judiciary or Socorro County. It cannot retrieve an official case file, reset a hearing, modify a docket, remove or seal a record, issue a certified copy, or give legal advice. Only the relevant court and its clerk can act on a case or certify its records.

For an official court record, use the court that heard the matter: the Socorro District Clerk, Magistrate clerk, municipal clerk, or the responsible federal clerk. The state portal can be a starting point, but it is not a substitute for the record custodian.

Search Partners

Some content pages display search boxes supplied by third-party providers. Those providers run their own services and set their own terms and pricing. A referral fee may be earned when a user chooses a paid service. Official Socorro County and New Mexico court sources remain the appropriate place to verify a docket, court date, document, or court record.
